I think it might have something to do with the cold weather, and the instinct to store food away for the winter months. I FIND IT SO ADORABLE. TOO ADORABLE. *_*
I keep their dish on the very top level of their cage, and all of their carefresh bedding is on the bottom. So all of those bits of white up top are pieces they've carried from the bottom of the cage to the food dish, to hide their food. *_* IS THIS NOT CUTE? :( Does anyone else's rats do this?
